avermonts is an online store selling women's dresses to customers across the 48 contiguous United States. This page explains who we are, where your order comes from, and how we handle the parts of online shopping that are easy to get vague about.
What We Sell
We focus on one category and try to do it properly: dresses for women. Our range covers cocktail and wedding-guest styles, work and church dresses, casual midi and maxi dresses, and sundresses, in sizes that run from XXS through 3X depending on the style. Every product page lists the sizes and colors that are actually available for that item.
We are an online-only business. We do not operate a retail store, a showroom, or a warehouse that customers can visit.
Where Your Order Ships From
Your order ships from our supplier's facility in China, not from a warehouse inside the United States. We say this plainly because it affects how long delivery takes and we would rather you know before you buy than be surprised afterward.
Orders are prepared in 3–5 business days and then travel 8–12 business days to reach you, for a total of 11–17 business days from the day you order. These are business days — Monday through Friday, excluding U.S. federal holidays. Our full timing table is on the Shipping Policy page.
Import duties on your order are paid by us before your parcel reaches you. Nothing is owed to the courier at the door.
Returns Are Handled in the United States
Returns do not go back to China. We maintain a returns facility in California, and every approved return goes there:

Please do not send anything to our registered office in Hong Kong. That is a company registration address, not a mail room, and a parcel sent there will not reach anyone who can process it.
How We Handle Returns and Problems
You have 30 days from the delivery date to request a return. We pay the return shipping and send you a prepaid label, and we do not charge a restocking fee. If an item arrives damaged, defective, or is not what you ordered, we cover the full cost of putting it right.
